About Nifty
Nifty Designs (Nifty Creative) is Paul ‘Nifty’ Hughes.
I have over 10 years experience in creative industries. Starting my career as a digital print operative, I quickly found my way to the computer, creating artwork for a range of customers. I enjoyed this work so much I went on to start my own Graphic Design business - Nifty Designs. Within a few years Nifty Designs had established a good name locally and started to attract clients from further afield, including creating works for London based record companies and larger corporate companies.
I then decided to add one of my other passions to my service list, which is photography. I worked with a local professional Photographer, Mark Lawrence, for some time to enable me to gain valuable experience. I was then able to offer photography under the new Nifty Creative name, including wedding services, family portraits and, the more creative, fashion element of the industry.
Unfortunately in early 2009, due to the economic crisis, the Nifty Creative Studio in Bracknell had to close. I had been spending alot of time during late 2008 helping a good friend get his tattoo studio off the ground and in turn he had been showing me the secrets of his trade, as the Design and Photography studio closed I found myself becoming the tattooist I am today and have not looked back.
